Not really, I have a tripe and its a pain in the ass, I just take it to the music center, otherwise you could mess up ur plugs

Yeah.. all you have to do is make sure the amp is off ETC and then pull the tubes out of it. its not hard at all.. it doesn't break anything unless you go and break your tube. The sockets are MADE to have things pushed and pulled around, considering thats the whole point of having a socket.

Its like changing a lightbulb.
