next tuesday it will be the 06/06/06 (666). I do a student radio show on a uni radio station and figured it would be a good theme for the day. i am racking my brains trying to figure out songs that have to do with the devil or hell or even heaven, suggestions would be appreciated.

maybe not. Stryper suck.

start with some classic rock, and then move up through punk, and finally, play a little black/white metal (very light on the white metal because a lot of it sucks coughextolcough). I honestly think you'll get quite a good response.

Does anyone know how the "666" thing came about? Let me tell ya:

It's mentioned in the book of Revelation in the Bible that the Antichrist would have 666 on his foreheard, right? Well, what most people don't know is that Revelation is written in code to Christians in persecution by Romans. The major source of persecution of Christians in that day and age was Nero Caesear, who would tie Christians to poles in his garden and light them on fire while he took an evening stroll. Nero's name in Latin is the same as the number "666."

So the number "666" actually refers to Nero, and not Satan, as most people think. So all these Death Metal bands are pledging their allegiance to Nero. Kinda funny, actually.
