Yep, it's 5 stringed. Yep, it's sexy. My amp's a pile of rubbish, though - Too small, bit of a rubbish make, and it's broke.

lol, why the need for a V2 other than to put your bass at the forefront?

Mines the first in the original.

are those off color parts on the left side there from light reflecting off of it cause its so damn shiny and beautiful, or scuffs from use?

It was one of the most gigged basses ever, I used it continuously from the mid/late 60s through to the late 90s it was well used hence the worn paintwork but played like a dream.

What's the paint color on that beast?. I fell in love with it last time you posted it up, and I've been wanting one ever since.

Pickguard is obviously black pearloid *drool*

^I'm probably wrong, but I think it's actually the Egyptian Smoke finish with python pickguard. Also John, when were you in Nashvegas? You should have dropped by and given me a visit!

These aren't my pics, but they get the message across. It's a 78' peavey t-40. Love the thing, but it weighs a ton.

My '57 P-Bass. It has an EMG pickup(had a jazz, too but I liked the tone better without it and couldn't get it back it when I took it out:p... That's one reason why the AC/DC sticker is there...) It has a Badass II bridge and some stickers(obviously), other than that it is a pretty normal P-Bass... the EMG makes it sound SOOOO good , though. I love it.

My neighbour bought his son a Mark Hoppus bass for Christmas, the set-up on it was terrible (the neck had so much bow they should have supplid arrows with it).

Yup, i remember the guy sed to me in the shop, this is a light 8x10 and i thought sweet, easy for giggin. He loaded it in the car (thankgod for parents volvo estates). Get home thinkin right, gotta move this upstairs now, but the guy sed it was light....
Well needless to say its a heavy git, but its worth it. i got offered the 2 separate cabs, but i was glad i bought the full 8x10. The overall tone of this is fnatastic, particularly compared with other amps i have tried. As it's my second amp i'm quite pleased:P
#35
^how 8X10 could be light, i dunno. even with those lighter speakers some company made (their name really escapes me atm) it'd weigh a ton
