please dont buy a guitar because the pickups look cool.

if ur looking for a floyd guitar in the $500 range look at and try some Ibanez.
if u like V's the look at some Deans.
if u want numetal looks, check out schecter.

Jenny needs to sow her wild oats with random Gibsons and Taylors she picks up in bars before she settles down with a PRS.

Unless you really need the gain from EMGs, I'd steer clear of them or anything else that requires batteries (unless you can hook it up to an AC adapter).

The Schecter C-1s sure do look nice, and I've heard a lot og good things about them, though I've never played one myself. I think this one is a real beauty. but no Floyd Rose

My suggestion for a guitar if you really want EMG's:
http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/ESP-LTD-Viper-400-Electric-Guitar?sku=516660

My suggestion for a guitar with passive pups:
http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/ESP-LTD-EC400-Archtop-Electric-Guitar?sku=516661

Personally I'd go with the EC Archtop, the Duncan's are great pups, and the carved top will give that classic Les Paul tone and feel, especially with the mahogany body.
