Yeah....I don't think he's ever play a recto.

With bass at 8-9, I think it would flab out completely. The cab would probably fall apart.

Try: (in clock face positions)
Presence: 11 o'clock
Master: 11
Gain: 2
Bass: 12
Mids: 11:30
Treble: 12:30

This is the perfect all-around recto tone with my rig!

Adam Jones uses three amps at the same time, a Marshall, Mesa-Boogie, and i think a Diezel.
According to Wiki, at least

a marshall bass amp, a mesa rectifier and a diezel vh4. and i think recently hes using another amp or something i havent read websites on it in a long time.

i also dont think the scooped mids settings are right.

ibanezforlife's settings are near identical to what i use on my vox.

but to me it sounds better on uk modern than on rectifier.

definitely do not scoop your mids for a tone like Adam Jones'
Just because you can express your opinion on an internet forum, doesn't mean you should.

i think he uses the same settings for solos as for rhythm work.

ill get my guitar and amp all set up and then i pretty much dont touch the amp again.

i switch pickups on my lp.

treble position bucker at 5 (super distortions) and rhythm bucker at like ~1.

i switch back and forth for clean - normal/lead. (think schism)
