I've been using that Ernie Ball hybrid it's like 52-9, and the top three are like a pack of 10's and the bottom are like 9's. It's all preference and how you have your guitar setup.

yess, the zakk wylde boomers,

im currently recording and we restrung all of the guitars we were using with the zakk wylde strings on it beucase the majority of our record was turned down half a step, and then dropped, sometimes dropped to C flat. THey work awesome in live situations as well, the low E string is pretty much a G string on a bass guitar, its wicked awesome, and the guitar's G string is a wound string, its intense. Its kind of hard to bend, but you get used to it, check them out if you beat the **** out of your strings live or in the studio, they stand up great.

I've been using 13s on my Strat for Eb tuning...after a while it's not that hard.
IMO anything under a 12 for that just sounds gross and floppy though.

i don't see any reason not to. Although, when i was little, i had a bad experience and pissed all over my feet, i've since improved my aim dramatically and always get in the hole.

your sig lol.

.11 will be great. i use it for a half step down, but i like thick strings also. any thing above .11 is overkill. wound b-strings suck, to hard to bend.

GHS Boomers straight up SUCK. They're good for the first 2 times you use them. I never like to be a dick on here, but seriousley. The things rust even if you wipe them down. I vouch for Ernie Ball Super Slinkys or "Not so" Slinkys. They're .11's and they sound awesome. Best of all, NO RUSTING. I play drop C just in case you were wondering.

13-56 or 13-62 d'adarios they last the longest and sound the best imo. And I like the 13, it plays faster for me in low tunings, I play in drop B, and standard C#.

Yea I use D'Addario 9-42 lol. They feel like 7s in drop C, but I'm a lead player and i love that really loose feel. I tried GHS 12-52 on my PRS, didn't like them, they weren't as bright as the D's and they felt really heavy, although that's probably because I'm used to a light string.

I'd go with 10-52s or heavier. You could even have 9s on the G, B and e strings if you wanted, as the tesnion in these strigns are les affected by the lower tuning. But you definately want 52s or heavier on the low string, maybe up to 60s if you're up to it
