What guitar do you have, what type of music do you play, where are you using it?

own one and i cant not get a good sound out of it. i love the little thing. if you're trying to play metal on it with out a boost i'm sorry that's really not possible. bar some maiden and perhaps early metallica if you have like an Xn2 or somthing.

It's the best practice, small gig, and blues amp IMO for it's price.
But it really can't do metal.

It's better with no teeth, trust me. Much fewer scars on my penis now that I've switched from seniors in high school to senior citizens.

i have a blues jr, I consider it a pretty "fun" amp since I can turn up the preamp/fat switch, and turn down the master volume, and get some overdrive at a low volume.

Although, I hear most people get a much better sound after swapping out the piece of crap speaker it comes stock. (i have a weber ceramic blue bull dog in mine)

^ really, as long as the fat is on, and the mids arn't scooped on it. it usually sounds great.

^Also, IMO all amps need their stock tubes replaced. Try some JJ's from Eurotubes.

Swap out the stock Eminence speaker. It's crap, throw in a Celestian "Greenback" and be done with it. I put a Heritage G12H 30Hz Greenback in mine and I've never looked back.

Throw in a new Eminence...they're better than Celestions for the price IMO.

I've got one, I think it sounds great stock.
Make sure the fat switch is on, and the channel "Volume" is less than 6.
