Hey, is it possible to make my piece of **** crate gt65, and turn it into a valve amp? Just for fun, and hopefully a better sound, Im gettin a valve amp anyway, but i still wanna mod it somehow.

I've heard someone say before, that modding a solid state into a valve amp would cost more than buying an actual valve amp...

You could upgrade the speaker maybe?

I don't think it's possible. It may be possible to mod it so that you have a valve pre-amp.. but I don't see the point.. it'd end up a bit like a vox ADVT.

i've heard that before too, hey does anyone of you know if changing speakers matters.
cause my amp is going overdrive when clean when i turn it up.

You could use thet chassis and transformer, bu thats about it.
