So does anyone every tried the Laney LX20D/LX35D/LX35R or better yet own one, how is the dsp fx compared to the Roland's?

Well at least could you describe how it suck, the DSP fx, how issit compared to the COSM in Cube 30, the tone, sound, mids, gain, etcs... rather than posting the most intelligent comment ever "it suck"...

Well i havent heard the laney but boss is made by roland so the effects have to be good. Ive got a roland and im very happy with it

Sorry about that, i was in a rush.
I tried an lx35r head to head with a roland cube 30 like a month ago.
The lx was... horrible. Tonally, it was what you would get iff you crossed a marshall mg with a boss mt2. The cleans were ok i guess, abit better than an mg but not much. The effects were pretty crappy, probably a similar fx circuit to an mg.
The cube's tone seemed orgasmic after playing the lx, and ive tried a cube before and it isnt THAT good (although it is great for the money you pay). The amp models are great, its so much more flexible than the lx. And the effects seemed alot better than the lx's aswell.
