Is it possible to buy and Epiphone les paul custom alpine white without the stratch plate, i know you can take it off but i'm just wonderin is there a model that doesnt have one in the first place?

I'm going to give you some advice here. Don't buy a guitar just because someone in a band you like uses it. Get what YOU like. Not what they like. Pick out a guitar that you like the look, feel, and sound of. You'll be much happier that way.

It's either an Epi Elitist Les Paul Custom, or Epi Elitist Les Paul Standard. Pickguards are easy to remove, so that doesn't make a huge difference.
