I normally would just search through music on rhapsody till I found some stuff.
But Im leaving for church camp in a day or two, and I need some songs I can sing and play on a six string acoustic. It doesnt have to be all christian music, but it does have to be mostly appropriate.
For instance. Wish you were here is ok, But no gratuitious swearing, or blatantly obvious drug reference.
So far ive got.
Break down - Jack johnson
Better together - Jack johnson
Wish you were here - Pink floyd
Knockin on heavens door - Bob dylan
Rockin in the free world - Neil young
My doorbell - The white stripes
Sweet home alabama - Skynyrd.

I need as many as I can get. Ill be able to learn them all for the most part, but I cant play melody and sing at the same time in the short amount of time I have to learn it.
So thats the only thing I cant use for the most part.
Thank ye mucho.

Try Here comes the Sun, by the Beatles.

It has a nice melody, has no volger language, and the chords are very easy, you can probably learn it in a day or two. Just a suggestion.

they can't buy the sunshine, by turin brakes.

no innapropriate references (that i'm aware of) and its a great song

sitting waiting wishing - jack johnson
heart of gold - neil young
hotel california - the eagles

I would do hotel california, but with all the rumours and speculation about it being involved with LaVey, I dont think I should.
Hear comes the some is good.
Thanks for all the suggestions.
