Ok, I am a novice guitar player, but i can play fairly well. Some of the songs i can play perfectly, but when i try to play them AND sing them at the same time, i cant do it. What can i do to practice?

I'd have to say try brain stew by green day...it's easy, as bad as green day is...it's easy and good practice...then try simple basic chord songs with fairly simple lyrics and singing. No barre chords when you're singing along at first...so much harder.
