Hi i've been playing for about 5 months now and I'm starting to get into soloing now. Not anything too hard, just some Black Sabbath like Iron man and Paranoid solos. Well anyway when I play unplugged it sounds great. But when I plug into distortion it sounds very ... muddy, I guess is the best way to put it. I've noticed that even when I am playing on the high strings the low E string vibrates and creates a buzzing noise. The guitar I have is an Ibanez Gio which is a beginner guitar. Do all guitars have this problem of string separation or is it just because mine is a beginner guitar? Also are there any ways to help fix this problem?

You're not very descriptive about your problem. It sounds like you need to practice muting your strings.
I will show you something different from either
Your shadow in the morning striding behind you
Or your shadow at evening rising to meet you
I will show you fear in a handful of dust

Muddiness is a pretty common problem... and I'm pretty sure the biggest cause is ****ty equipment.
