What do you guys think is better:

1 versatile guitar such as a H/S/S config American Strat or G&L

or

1 S/S/S Mexican Strat and 1 Ibanez RG1570

I play a lot of different styles such as blues, rock, classical, and metal. I would like to know if it's better to have 1 high quality, expensive guitar that can do it all or 2 solid guitars geared toward a specific style. My amp is a Mesa Mk IV (which I haven't gotten yet but I have the cab haha) Thanks. -K

the american strat and the mexican are not close in quality. I have both and the difference is significant.

I would go for the american hss

Yes, they ARE close in quality

Do you have a 2006 mexican?

Probably the second, that way you can probably keep one for changed tunings as. Plus you'll have an Ibanez trem, but not be stuck with trying to readjust it. Also you will be a bit more specialised.
EDIT: Although personally I would take the first option because it suits my style more.
