I'd say they're only really about as bluesy as Gomez or The White Stripes, both bands usually end up being talked about in modern rock or alt & indie.

They're okay though, a few decent songs.

I liked them immediately once someone mentioned them in the 'Garage rock discussion thread' in the Modern Rock Forum. They're a very good band, and have a new album out in September! (So my sources tell me.)

effing amazing. Cant stop listening to the rubber factory, when the lights go out is such a good song. Inspirational stuff.

I'd take Dan Auerbach over Jack White anyday, though I do enjoy the Stripes. They're a really great band. One of my favorites.
