This song was written in about five minutes during a period of some of the strongest rage I have felt in a long time. Needless to say, someone hurt me pretty bad. I had the U2 song "Seconds" from the album "War" stuck in my head at the time, and I think as a result it has that sorta early U2 rawness to it.

If it was so simple
Then long ago
We'd have walked away
I'd have walked away

Sometimes it takes the dark
To see the light
The sun at night
There's only so much
That I want to know
Before I go

Do you think Im going to smile
Guess again
And while you do
I waited once
I waited twice
I wont neglect another night

I wont wait
For you to wave
Or justify a wasted day
I was there
But once again
You proved me wrong

I can see the U2 influence you were talking about, even If I haven't heard too much of their earlier stuff.

Some of it seemed a bit cliche, and there wasn't really anything that stood out as great.

But i can see the emotion in it, and overall it's not too bad. 7/10.
