is there a website i can look at that can tell me retail prices. . .besides the manufacturers site, i have a peavey transtube 100 watt head and i would like to find the retail price for it

Just look at sites like musiciansfriend.com, music123.com and others. They will have the actualy price that you would pay for it, if it is still sold. Otherwise you could check eBay for going prices of them now.

If you're looking at the manufacturer's site, they usually show you the MSRP which is the maximum suggested retail price. Its not the real price though, the real price is cheaper. Go to sites like online guitar center or whatever.
