i have a fender american telecaster and i was wondering if i could put a whammy bar on it. what would i have to do to get it put on (like would i have to get a new bridge or what?)

You'd have to cut a hole in your guitar.

It'd be cheaper to just buy a Strat or something.

Yeah, if you had a pro do it, they'd cut a hole in the back of the guitar, get a trem unit, install that, set it up with springs, fill the space left from removing the Tele bridge, and set it up again.

That would easily be $300.

They own, look better than Bigsbys and you DO NOT need to hack your guitar to bits, lower than 300 POUNDS dunno about $s
