I'm thinking of making a Y cable for my amp. It'd be like this:

          (MALE)
           / \
          / \
    (FEMALE) (FEMALE)

Those are 1/4in jacks if you're wondering. I intend to use this to plug both of my guitars into my amp at once. Would it work? And would it have any negative consequences?

I've answered this question so many times. you don't even need to make a cable. they sell doulbe input jacks called y-splitters and places like radio shack. they're about 4 dollars. buy one. the only problem is that it will weaken the signals from the guitars. but yes it'll work.

I'm in Croatia, Radio Shack doesn't have shops here. I guess I'm just going to go browse the local shops. Thanks anyway.
