ok so here's my story:
i've had a epiphone les paul for around three years now and i was letting my friend play it and he broke the pickup switch so my question is should i go and get it fixed or buy a new guitar because i was thinking about getting a strat at the end of the school year.

do both.....to repair a switch or replace one is inexpensive....you could probably do it yourself anyway if its just a loose wire
#3
I vote anything but the strat...strats are hideous and sound like ****. The only respect I got for them you can thank Stevie Ray Vaughn, Hendrix and Clapton. ( Im a Metalhead, lol)

Repair it, all you have to do is buy another switch and solder it on, if you do wish to toss it though, send it to me.

Are you pondering what I'm pondering pinky?

Pinky
I think so, Brain, but where would we buy rubber pants at this hour?

Why the hell would you just toss it for a broken switch? They're like $10 to get fixed.
