hey, im lookin for the best mic under 100$

and i know your probably saying to yourself "well thats cool and id be glad to help you, but why is this in the electiric guitar thread?"

well first off i need a mic thats good for singing AND and mic'ing a amp or cabinet. and second of all there are more people in here than in, say the songwriting section or gear section.

i was thinkin about a SM58? good? bad?

For what you want it would have to be an SM58 or an SM57.

The 58 would be better for vocals but still good for guitar.

The 57 is better on the amp but still good for vocals.

from what ive heard and learned from experience the shure sm58 is nothing compared to the sennheiser e835. the sennheiser has more clarity, less feedback, and the shure hasnt changed in like 25 years.
