I want to put a Earvana Compensated Nut on my guitar. What would make it sound different or feel different than a regular nut. I also waould like to know the advantages and disadvanteges.

One more thing, how would I install this on my guitar?

I think so, Brain, but where would we buy rubber pants at this hour?

ummm installation depends on your current nut and your current guitar. and really the only good thing about the compensated nuts are that they help with intonation all over your fretboard

I have an Earvana on my Schecter S-1 Blackjack. It makes it so wherever you fret, your guitar will be as close to in tune as possible.

It pretty much sounds like any other synthetic nut.

I haven't really found any disadvantages with it so far.

^I'd let a pro look at it. Once you get into the technicalities of screws...well, it's just a place you don't want to be, friend.
