I vote Ibanez. Looks 10 times better, IMO.

ive played the esp... it sucks hands down...
the pickups cant stay tight...
it feels weird...
it has ok slap tone... i actually prefure the slap tone over most..
but it feels cheap.
just me.

Go with the ibby... much more reliable. The tone is better, it comes set up better (Elixer strings??), looks better (IMO), and the neck is much smoother.

I'm gonna say Ibanez, but I've never played any ESP. it would depend on what music you play.

Why?

And, judging from his avatar, he's into stuff like Avenged Sevenfold.

instruments tend to give different tone from body wood or something. i dunno. it's a seemingly standard question.

since your proly into metal music, id get an ibanez because it has more of a hard rock and metal type of tone

Ibanez advertises as a more "metal" brand of guitar. However, they really are not.

Yes, instruments do give a different tone depending on the wood, but both the ESP and Ibanez are made from Agathis.

If you use a pick, I'd go for ESP. I've found that the ESP bass pickups sound really good when you use a pick, as opposed to fingerstyle. It's got a very deep, growly, manly tone (at least the one I tried did).
#15
I'd go with the Ibanez, just by reputation. It looks cleaner and more refined than the ESP.

Easily Ibanez. LTD basses suck.

LTD is not a better name than Ibanez, either. Don't ever say that.

Do you mean ESP, or do you have the wrong 3 letters?

Play both, and make the descision for yourself from that. How they play for you is the most important thing.

No doubt about it... get the Ibanez. Whoever said that the ESP has better tone is an idiot!
