People don't like Dave Mustaine because he created something that owned Metallica in just about every single aspect of thrash metal.

Master Of Puppets, with my guitar teacher not a band.

other then that 5/8ths over the rainbow... it's a song my band does theres a lot of jam time in there, we usually go about 15 minutes, probably doesn't count though.

Edit: oh and ive played stairway to heaven with a band, but i was only playing second guitar. which was just some harmonies and chords... but it was hella boring and not worth it, especially with no singer, i will never play the song again.

Yeah it sucks, good on you for learning it all but i cant stand the song lol.
#15

Or...were you playing Fallout Boy? Because then it's obvious what happened. Your Low E String committed suicide.

I sometimes play Jesus of suburbia and Homecoming back to back, comes to about 15mins.

if you're going to count songs played back to back, then how about Master of Puppets+Stairway to Heaven?

I once played a 45 minute version of Voodoo Child - Hendrix. (Side note: Drunken jams are the best.)
Muddy Waters Tele - Signed by the members of Canned Heat
PRS Soapbar SE - Signed by Michael Angelo Batio
H&K Statesman Quad EL-84
Dunlop Wah (modded to JH specs)

mine if you count songs played back to back.

Crazt Train
Mr Crowley
Children of the Grave
Iron man
Paranoid
Goodbye to Romance
Dee

All from the Randy Rhoads tribute album, my goal is to learn the whole thing.

Weezer - Only in Dreams: 8:00. Easy on guitar but our bassist was getting pretty tired toward the end.

Fade to Black for me, it's one of the only songs I completely know all the way through. One of the most difficult all the way through for me would probably be 11th Hour by Lamb of God.

A lot of my songs goes up to 15 minutes. My longest one is 26 minutes and I play that one a lot. It's fun

But a song that's quite hard that I've played with my band is A Plague of Lighthouse Keepers (23:04)
When I heard smoking would kill me, I bought shares in Dunhill and Marlboro - Thomas Geraghty

If we don't change it, nothing will fucking change.

^^thats cuz Opeth > every other band mentioned in this thread

anyways, i find LoG songs quite easy all the way through. 11th Hour, Laid to Rest, Hourglass and The Faded Line are fun as hell to play.
the longest i can play, though, is probably War Ensemble, or Postmortem/Raining Blood.

Freebird, or maybe Freeborn Man or Green Grass and High Tide by the Outlaws

Albequerque - Weird Al : 11 minutes and something, but its simple
"No one ? and I repeat, no one ? has ever died for a flag. See, a flag ... is just a piece of cloth. They may have died for freedom, which is also the freedom to burn the f*ckin' flag, see. That's freedom." - Bill Hicks
