Hey, i was wondering if anyone could give me the other names of these modes. For instance i kno that the Ionian mode is the major scale and the Dorian mode is the minor scale (I think). Correct me if i am wrong. I just want to kno both names so i can expand my music theory studies. Thanx in advance.

Ionian: 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 (created by W W H W W W H pattern)
Dorian: 1 2 b3 4 5 6 b7
Phrygian: 1 b2 b3 4 5 b6 b7
Lydian: 1 2 3 #4 5 6 7
Mixolydian: 1 2 3 4 5 6 b7
Aeolian: 1 2 b3 4 5 b6 b7
Locrian: 1 b b3 4 b5 b6 b7

Aolian is minor. Thats about it. There aren't any other names. You pretty much got all of it.

Locrian is half diminished I think
"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." JOHN 3:16 NIV
