I really need a wah, and i'm thinking VOX or Crybaby or Morley. Which one is best for mostly metal playing? I've heard Crybaby's aren't very good but lot of guys use them...
Washburn x10 "Washy"
Ibanez S470DXQM "Kimberly"
BC Rich NJ strat "Sydney"
Roland Cube 60
Vox V847
Boss OD1
Boss CE2
Digitech Death Metal
Russian Big Muff PI
DOD Deth Metal
Ibanez SM9
Zakk Wylde Signature Dunlop Wylde Wah is what I have and it sound phenomenal. I highly recommend it for metal!

I like the 535Q great vocal tone to it. and if you want a Zakk wah just get the Hendrix one as it is the one he used before he got signed up with dunlop

Im not intendning in hijackng this thread but...........Does anyone happen to know which Wah pedal Kirk Hammet used while recording the Black Album?
Crybaby Rackmount OOP... sob sob sob !!
Tone is all ...... well probably 75%, in your fingers.
The rest depends on your wallet's thickness !!

Keep the faith, baby!!
I'd say probably a Morley Bad Horsie, Steve Vai gets some pretty killer tones out of it.
yea, i'd say either a bad horsie, tremonti power wah, dimebag wah...for me there the only competitors for high gain wah's......but then i use a vox V847 for metal.......
+1 or 2 or 3... on the Ibanez Weeping Demon
"Play with your ears" - Yngwie Malmsteen, Paul Gilbert
