in that video.. what is he doing to get that cool kinda tube sound from just these few simple notes

I play this song as shown above but whilst raking and muteing the other strings.. which gets me close to stevies sound, but not as close as I'd like to be... so is it just the fact hes srv or is there something more that hes doing besides raking?

And big strings ... but theres also a version of him doing it on acoustic so a 12 string Guild would be nice.

also he's probably using the 4th positon on his strat not the neck pickup but the neck and middle and then he switchs to the neck later in the song
