Hey. I'm building a guitar using a warmoth sg body and an lp neck. Should i paint it myself or bring it somewhere to do it. Warmoth seems very costly to paint the parts and I fell like I can get it cheaper but im not sure. How much would a local music store charge?

unless you want something insanely complicated, you could probably do it yourself, all you need is the paint. there are lots of builld threads along with re-painting threads on here if you want more ideas on how to do it. also check out www.reranch.com its got everything you need to know basicly

I think it would be ok for you to paint it yourself. Unless you do something really complicated then you might need help on that but you could probably do it yourself anyway.
