Hey, I saw an ad in a magazine for colored guitar strings. I was just wondering if anyone here has ever used them. I just wanted to know if the color rubs off on your fingers or something else like that. I was planning on buying pink ones, but i don't really want to buy them if when im done playing i have pink smudges on the tips of my fingers...

I hope that we could get some real metal out there. I guess A7X a start...
But nu metal does have its moments like Slipknot Mushroomhead and Korn.

The colour wears away after a while.

i got a high e-string that was blue from guitar world, and it wears away at the fret bars

thanks, yeah, if the color wears away at the fret bars, that'd look kinda crappy, but they're still worth a try i guess

I've had experience with these strings... did not like them at all. The strings felt bad on my fingers.
