Im going to Brazil for a month soon and Im taking my guitar and thats probably the only thing im gonna be doing there so I wanted to get a a few books to take with me. I want something with alot of licks in it. More hard rock/metal/shred type stuff. any reccomndations?

You should ask a Brazilian guitarist to teach how they play guitar over there. Like how they tune and style.

I support this... if I went anywhere with a distinctive music style, I'd be there soaking it up as much as possible.
