What's the difference between American standard series strats/teles and Highway 1 strats/teles?

highway ones are made in mexico, have a slightly cheaper tremelo, and have thinner finishes
My Rig
>MIM Fender Stratocaster and SX SJM-62
>various magicial noise boxes
>Peavey Classic 50 212

For the funk:
>Ibanez ATK300
>Acoustic B100

Basically, the core difference is that the Standards are nice, while the Highway 1's are not.
The Mexican Strats are actually better than the H1's.

What to change the band name? No way!! We have a kick-ass logo of a washing machine eating guitars and everything!!

American standard series guitars are made in America in california, by Mexicans (mostly anyway)

Highway 1 Strats are made in Mexico with Mexican pieces but assembled in America, or something of that sort

I agree

the price difference at least means you can take the money and upgrade it
