I play a fender acoustic electric and when i play the guitar into my amp it gives it a natural twang that i could do without. I always figured it was the amp settings that werent exactly right but today i played my uncles acoustic electric on the same setting and it was fine.
Any suggestions?

Could it be your playing style? I used to play with a twang on my two high strings until I changed my picking style.
That, or it could just be because it's a Fender...?

It's better with no teeth, trust me. Much fewer scars on my penis now that I've switched from seniors in high school to senior citizens.

It's probably the guitar, what model is it?
It's perfectly normal though, fender is famous for that twang.

If you don't like it, you can simply change the pups on it, but most people often look for that twang in Fenders.
