Whats the best way to clean a painted neck to get it super smooth again?

^^ just make sure you clean it all off cause I think on maple it can make it go green. Not 100% sure though cause I am prone to make things up that I think is true but isn't!

Finger Ease will clean both the back and front of the neck.

You're not supposed to use lemon oil on a maple fretboard. Just regular guitar polish.

They don't put the words "FOR USE WITH ROSEWOOD FRETBOARDS ONLY" there for purely decorative purposes.
