I bought this used digitech rp-200 for $40 last week and I was wondering how it is any different then the rp-200a model? And does anyone know any good settings for it the, most of the factory settings aren't vary good but I've fooled around with it and got a couple of good settings.

i think the "a" stands for "artist" and it has settings that are meant to mimic certain famous tones. I don't know how good they are because I never tried an rp200a but I have an old rp300 and its alright for starting out. I wouldn't put it in front of a good amp because its tone isn't great and once you start playing higher quality single effects you will see how far the rp200a fall short. As I said its good for starting out, and its good switch 8 different effects with one tap.
