Yea, use your fingers and just improvise till you can grab one. If you are playing a gig having picks on your mic stand is a good idea. Those are easy to grab.
#9
i suddenly breakout into a tapping solo if i dont have a pick ready and if i cant finger pick it well enough

tapping, is the answer to everything lol
#10
lol or get those pickholders rthat stickout from your guitar like on steve vai. My store hast o order them 0.o lol. Must be very ver useful.....

Or get those thigns to stick them on the mic stands....

i swear into the mic, bend down and pick it up

lol yah if you dont play guitar while singing haha, that would be funny to see and than coming back up from screaming and just walk to the guitarist who lost their pick giving it to them while singing the verse or so haha.

You should be able to stick a few somewhere in your guitar or on your clothing, if not, keep a few on the side of stage, on your amp, or on your mic stand.

Try one of these, they clip on ur strap:

Or one of these, which clips on the mic

thats the easiest way to do it

Give 10 UGers a rope and ask them to pull. 4 will push, 1 will ask for buttsecks, 2 will tell you get an Ibanez and the last 3 will start complaining about Line6 Spiders.

well theres a way to not lose your pick at all

It called Gorilla Snot i think?

Yeah you just put some on your fingers and your pick and your definantly not losing that pick cause it sticks.

I havnt used it but I heard its pretty useful

I swear by my mic stand pick holder for when I drop a pick. I fingerpick until I get a chance to jump my hand up and grab a new one. If I'm playing a solo (happens occasionally) I improvise with one-handed tapping around the melody of that part and grab a pick with my other hand, then jump right back in. I tend to not drop picks, but it's always good to have spares.

i think the one thats right on ur strap is way easier, kuz then if youre moving around on stage, u dont have to run to ur mic if u drop a pick

Maybe only magnetic on a small part where the pick isnt supposed to pick the string..

I shove my pick under the pickguard of my les paul, the narrow part where it can gently hold the pick.

And if i drop my pick, yeah i'd probably swear and get my backup pick.
#32
I slip one under the pickguard, works a dream.
That or behind the nut on the strings.

#39

or alternitvly
