I think these guys are pretty cool. Just wanna know what others think about em'.

Yeah, I remember him saying that. I think it was on one of those shows about the history of metal on VH1.

Thanks for telling me about that but I was talking about when he said he could shoot himself for writing cherry pie.

Cherry Pie has got to be the ultimate stripper song and next is girls, girls, girls by Motley Crue.

I think Warrant was a good band. They had catchy lyrics and some good riffs and solos. Cherry Pie, Heaven, Uncle Toms Cabin, Sometimes She Cries, and Downboys were all good songs. I think the reason Jani Lane hates Cherry Pie is the fact that he didn't have an intention of it being a hit.

I like Warrant a lot. They are one of my favorite 80's bands. I think the one of the lowest points had to be when he was a contestent on season 2 of VH1's Celebrity Fit Club.

i hope you mean girls, girls, girls first.

i think that warrant was one of those copy-cat bands that were actually ok.
Motley Crue 2/11/06!
Motley Crue/Aerosmith 11/21/06!
Sanctity/BLS 3/12/07!
Bleeding Through/Slayer/Manson-7/25/07!
A7x/Operator/the Confession/Black Tide 11/25/07!
Van Halen 2/12/07!

Well actually I was just putting them in order as I thought of them. Girls, Girls, Girls and Cherry Pie in my opinion are actually the best stripper rock songs. I wasnt really trying to rank them.

They don't really suck, but Cherry Pie does
All in the name of Rock

ok warrant two things i love them for... one introducing me to bobbie brown (model in cherry pie video, also married janie) and a kinda not so heard of band i dont think... ive only heard a few songs like down boys and cherry pie and a few others

warrant used to rock until it hit about the 90s where they totally conform to music around then which they completely went down a hill and had their head stabbed into a large sharp stick

I guess everybody has heard by now, the lead singer for Warrant recently died. He was 47.

Any comments???

I think Warrant is one of those bands that shouldnt have released any albums after their first one. With that being said their first album was, and still is, one of my favorites.

“We are deeply saddened to hear the news of Jani's passing. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family. Jani was a very important part of our lives for a long time. We will always be incredibly proud of the music we created together. He was a true talent and will be missed by all of us.”

Say what you will, but they were some of the masters of their craft. I always thought that "Down Boys" sounded like a rip-off of a Cars song ("Bye Bye Love").

I loved "Cherry Pie", "Uncle Tom's Cabin", and "I Saw Red". Some of their balad stuff got a little sappy and estrogen filled, but their music got you laid back in the day. I still remember playing Warrant on a cassette in my 77 Trans Am while trying to "get some".

I wish I could write a song like "Cherry Pie" that would still be remebered decades later!
