i know this has been asked a million times, but i looking for some advice about what guitar to get.

i have been playing for 4 years (i'm 14) and i would be playing zeppelin, rhcp, aerosmith, rolling stones, acdc , etc.my first/current guitar is a cheap strat copy. i have my mind pretty much set on a les paul, but i do not know which one to get. my price range is up to $600 canadian. any advice would be greatly apreciated.

thanks
Setup:

Epiphone Les Paul Standard Plain-Top
Crap GK strat
Vox Valvetronix 15 watt
Dunlop GCB-95 Wah

Well its seems that youre a classic rock fan so go with maybe an Epiphone Les paul standard, unless you want to save up a little longer and get a gibson.

It's not a Les Paul, but the Epiphone G-310 is an amazing guitar for your price range.

^He could do much better than that.
Maybe an Agile AL-3000- http://www.rondomusic.net/al3000prest.html only about 370 american

This is a much better Epiphone SG copy-mahogany body which will give you a better tone

ive heard that the agile les pauls are good but the only reason id get an epi standard over an agile is because i cant try out the agile before i buy it

but an epiphone lp standard is good?? would i need to change the pickups cuz some people say that their crap but im only 14 and i dont really care aslong as the pickups are decent.

and also, does the standard come with grover tuners?

You can return the Agile if you're not satisfied, apparently the customer service from rondomusic is excellent. But if you're going for the Epiphone I suggest the new plain top standard, from what I've heard from other users it's much better

i second the agile AL-3000 (amazing) or the plain top Les paul from Epi.
