what is the most common key to play/ what key do you normally play in?

On guitar, things are most often written in G, C, D, F, E, or A because those are the keys easiest to deal with....but you can write in any key, really.

i personally try to keep it varied. I also like using multiple key changes in a song, it help to make it more interesting in my opinion.

really depends what im playing, normally a metal track will be in C minor for me (primarily due to the drop C tuning), but then when i play some acoustic stuff ill move to a major key, or some funk etc will be in major's, normally i play funk in either D or E

A & E minor are always the easiest for me (so that covers C & G major too). After that I'll dabble in B, D, G, A flat and F sharp minors and their major relative keys mostly. I find Am and Em to be the easiest though cuz there's the most open string options.

If you want to, you may.

Every other damn song in my old cover band set list was something that had an Em pentatonic solo section.

I realize that's not a key, but still...

he's being serious.

in europe, H is what they use instead of B.

i think it goes:

A, B( b flat), H (b natural), C, Db, D etc.

I thought H was another name for G#.
