Im currently looking for a new tube amp, but the only probably is, im completely broke, just like alot of UG'ers out there, so im wondering where can i get an amazing deal on an tube amp

couple of my friends suggested to ask/look around at churches, to see if they have anything there, check the pawn shop, check garage sales, check thrift stores(i doubt that), or check around in the garbage

Does anyone have anyother suggestions?

Thanks

The Traynor YCV50 Blue combo or whatever it is gets rave reviews for being a cheap tube amp. Also check out the Peavey Valveking (head or 112/212 combo). A mid-gain amp that can be pushed into metal with an OD pedal. I don't have the prices for either, so you'll have to look around.

Would getting a broken amp for cheap or for free off of someone, and sending it to a guitar tech to get it fixed up, anygood?

Sure. Anything free is great. However, if it's a HUGE fix-up, it'll probably cost a pretty penny. Most guitar techs charge by the hour.
