In an amp, of coures, which is better?

Fender has the 65 Twin Reverb which of coures has two 12" speakers, and they also have a custom version with one (why's it a twin then?) 15" speaker

which would be better? how would they be different?

15" in a guitar amp?!? eek. the 2x12 would be better for guitar.

Why the 15 for nu-metal?

I would go for the 2x12, it seems more reliable and the sound is probably better, more stereo-ish

15" would give a better bass response.
Personally, I think the more speakers the better.
I'd rather have a few smaller speakers than one big one. The two gives a fuller sound and coming from the '65 Reverb...my god will that be sweet.

Isn't the 15" extremely similar to the Vibroverb?

15" will have bigger, looser bass.

2x12" will have tighter, punchier bass.
