My friend has a little 15 watt Fender Amp, that turns on but isn't projecting any sounds. What are the possible problems there are here?

First thing to check is whether the wires connecting the amp to the speaker are attached or not. Unscrew it and have a look, although bear in mind that any warranty will be voided if you do that, and make sure the f*ckers unplugged. I learnt that one the hard way, I nearly killed myself a couple of years ago by dismantling an amp that was connected to the mains.
