Get that kind of highpitch squealy tone that some of the Stone's songs have... also Clapton gets it at the beginning of Strange Brew by Cream. Been playing around trying to get it. Assume it's a whole lot of trebble or something I can't quite get it. Any help would be awsome.

Thanks,
Phuknee

well, you might have to tune up because the stones tune to open g i think.

They do but Clapton doesn't. I've also heard it on several other recordings. Just an example. BTW I've got humbucker's so might need singlecoils I guess... also have a Blues Junior.

I think he mean the really nasly sound that a treble booster makes like brian may, clapton and Iommi(sp?) use.

Yea. It's definitely not Pinch Harmonics it's low-mid low notes that make it too. It's a tone of sorts I guess. I'll check out Trebble Boosters. Thanks. If anyone else has a suggestion put it up!!

Thanks.
