Are these new?... First one I saw online a couple weeks ago and the second has just appeared now... I've never read anything about these, never heard of anyone that has them, and they aren't even on the Fender web site.

What does FSR stand for anyway?

FSR stands for Factory Special Run, which is a limited edition guitar that doesn't appear in the Fender catalog.

Ah thank you, that does make sence.

From the specs #1 seems better than the standard MIM, does anyone have one or planning a mim purchase?

I'm in the process of buying one of the new 2006 MIMs. I was originally going to get a MIA, but with the new colours and upgrades, a MIM seems to make more sense.

Btw, that website says that the FSR has an "original syncronized tremolo" which could lead people to believe that it's an "American Vintage" trem as opposed to the "Vintage Style" trem normally found on MIMs.
