I haven't tried any newer ones, besides the Guv'nor, which seemed alright, maybe a little generic. I've played an older Guv'nor and a Shredmaster, though, and I really liked those. They go for outrageous prices (the original black box ones), though, especially the Shredmaster *coughdamnyouGreenwoodcough*

The Guv'nor is awesome, Rage Against the Machine/Audioslave's bass player uses two- one as an overdrive, the other for all out distortion- and he has awesome tone.

the ED-1 compressor is hawt. it works excellently.

i've heard good things about their blues driver, and their jackhammer.

I had the luck of finding a Marshall Shredmaster in a store once for 150 bucks but I really didn't have the money to buy it, but I did play it and it was gorgous, I'm still looking for one.

Do they still make the S-master ??
Tone is all ...... well probably 75%, in your fingers.
The rest depends on your wallet's thickness !!

Keep the faith, baby!!
