I've seen people put strings on a guitar through the nut on the headstock in different ways. What would be the best way to do this? (Best for them staying in tune, not breaking, etc)

It seems the most popular is just 2-3 times around then go through the hole. I've seen people go once around below the hole, then once around above it, then through.

I just stick mine in each go 1 way counter clock wise then tune it 1 string by 1 ...on my edge pro2 bridge

Well I just place my string over the nut. Now the tuning peg. THATS a different story.

^_^

I've been just throwing the string through and winding, but I usually have to retune once a day. I don't like that. ><

I checked on google for a better way to keep in tune.

I think I'll try wrapping the string under itself.

Anyone have an idea on where to cut that?

i dunno, it just doesnt look like it would work.

the string would bend and slip off.

then you get raped by a rope of metal.
