I tried plugging in my guitar directly in my computer. Without opening any software, i could hear a clean sound with no delay when i play afew strings on my guitar. The problems came when i switch on amplitube live, i got a nasty 0.5 delay. When i pluck a string, the sound only came out after 0.5 second which is awefully irrating. Any solutions?

Most likely your sound card sucks; also without a preamp or a digi box, you're not likely to get anything good out of that, either way.

Thank god I own a Mac - never had any latency problems with any guitar software or modelers...
Now running an Eleven Rack with Pro Tools 10.3.3 - it's amazing and I'm having ball with it - worth every penny. PT 10 is tops IMO and the Eleven Rack is a work of art!

There's an universal ASIO driver you could get, maybe - I don't remember the full name but just google for ASIO drivers or whatever, I'm sure you'll find it easy enough.
