The truss rod runs through the neck and keeps it at proper counter-tension to the strings.

They run through the neck, and are most often adjustable at the head or at the base.

for that bass would it be near the botton of the fretboard, because i found no screw thing at the top of the neck
#11
Oh, you mean you want to adjust the truss rod?

Well, yeah, basically, if there's no truss rod access at the headstock, it'll be at the base of the neck. Bolt-on neck, right?

Some things in that style have a slot under the pickguard at the base of the neck to allow adjustment, otherwise you'll have to take the neck off.

theres a wierd little circle type of slot at the end of the pickguard, and at the bottom of the fretboard, its a circle thing that looks like it can be turned
#15
That's probably it. You'll likely need an allen key.

Why do you want to adjust your truss rod anyhow?

Well, what does your bridge look like?

Dammit, someone should write a guide to raising action...

And This is a better link that shows you the bridge.

Basically, you'll need a real small Allen key.

Basically, you use a small allen key to turn each saddle screw clockwise until you can pluck without buzzing.

Then, you re-tune.
