I'm looking into GFS stuff for my strat copy too. As far as I can tell, it's good stuff. But those locking tuners look too good to be true. Oh, and don't paint your knobs and switch...just buy a new set from GFS. It's cheaper and it will come out much much better. Trust me.
i was thinking of a warwick neck, cause my strat copy is made by fender (supposedly, china tho) and it was like almost 300 bux for the cheapest one. two tuners just broke too... and i was gonna get new SD Pups and new tremolo springs cause the ones i got now suck a lot. that would be hella expensive tho. im gonna c if i can get a used su'm for around 200 thatll last me a while w/o too many problems.
Can't do too much for 100 dollars, so I'll stick a Duncan Invader in the bridge and paint it.
