with all those distortion pedals you listed it's not really gonna matter what pickup you are using. lol. you could play an acoustic through that board and have it come out metal.

emgs are the way to go ive got a set on both of my guitars and both of my basses they are hard to beat

the invader is thick and chunky. tight, and no muddy. highs cut through well on solos also. i really really like mine. i havent played the neck position ones, but my bridge is solid. im a big invader advocate.
