Okay, I have three questions here.

1: For the NT series warlock 5 string bass, does it have a painted neck or just plain maple?
2: Does the NT series Beast come in a 5 string. On their website it says it only comes in a 4 string, but when listing the scale length it gives another length for a "5 string version." I'm confused.
3: Which would you guys prefer, a 5 string Beast or 5 String warlock (Black of course)

I prefer the Beast Shape, but I wouldn't get a current BC Rich, as they are all made out of Nato (Cheap mahogany substitute) and feature BC Rich pickups.

I'd rather look for a used 80s USA custom or even build one myself.

I'm not too fond of the Beast as it is kind of bulky. But you are the one whos playing it so its up to you. If it were me I'd get the Warlock. Now if you decide to get the Warlock it might cost more to put in EMG pickeps because they have a 2 P-bass pickup configuration.
